Pearson Prentice Hall And R&I Solutions Sign Agreement For Textbook/Software Package

Cost Genie Software To Be Bundled With Culinary Textbooks

YUCAIPA, CA — R&I Solutions has announced an agreement to bundle its Cost Genie 3.5 Menu Costing Program (Student Version) with Pearson Prentice Hall culinary student textbooks.

Cost Genie – Student Version, which is bundled with Prentice Hall’s new Culinary Fundamentals and On Cooking: Culinary Fundamentals (4th ed.), will come preloaded with recipes from the book so students can create, cost and print menus. Cost Genie offers opportunities for hands-on experience with the software that is setting the standard in recipe and menu costing, inventory control, and nutritional analysis applications for the foodservice industry.

Cost Genie is a professional software program for restaurant inventory control, recipe and menu costing, menu engineering, catering, purchasing and ordering, and nutritional analysis. The easy-to-use food cost program contains the same tools, information, and productivity enhancements that larger companies get from their corporate staffs and expensive computer networks.
